1975 was the first year of the legendary 2F petrol six - 4.2 litres, cast iron everything, and built to outlast almost everything bolted to it. Alongside it, the B 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel and the H 3.6-litre diesel six were on offer in selected markets. All three are simple, repairable engines that respond well to quality parts.
