Feature

Convoy DCJ is a SAE 15W-40 Premium Mineral engine oil for heavy duty applications designed for use in vehicles with and without Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF). It is made from a combination of hydrocracked base stocks and the latest additive technology.

Convoy DCJ meets CJ-4 and ACEA E11 as well as many other manufacturer specifications.

Application

Convoy DCJ is designed for use in naturally aspirated and turbocharged, heavy duty diesel engines fitted with DPFs and/or Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems that require low ash oils. It is suitable for use in post-2006, EPA 07 compliant American diesel engines, that meet current ADR emissions regulations and in Euro IV and Euro V emission compliant engines.

Convoy DCJ is recommended for use where SAE 15W-40 or SAE 20W-40 grade, heavy duty engine oils are specified by the manufacturer. It can be used where API CJ-4, CI-4/Plus or previous specifications were required and where European ACEA E11 and ACEA E7 is specified. It may also be used where obsolete specifications ACEA E9, and ACEA E6 were recommended or where Japanese JASO DH-2 is needed. It may also be used in petrol engines where API SN or earlier specification SM, SL, SJ is required.

Convoy DCJ is an ideal mixed fleet oil and can be used for normal drain intervals in European and Japanese diesel engines. It is ideal for use in high speed and some medium speed, diesel engines used in marine environments as well as for generator sets, and agricultural and earthmoving equipment.

Vehicles and Fuel Types

Convoy DCJ is suitable for light & heavy duty commercial vehicles, passenger cars, 4WDs, construction, mining and agricultural equipment if a heavy duty, SAE 15W-40 diesel engine oil is required or specified by the manufacturer. It is suitable with Diesel, Petrol and LPG. When using API CJ-4 oil with higher than 15 PPM sulphur fuel, consult the engine manufacturer for service interval recommendations.

Note: Some trucks and heavy vehicles fitted with DPFs may need to use Convoy DHD, Convoy DLA or Convoy DSP oils. Please check the Penrite Lube Recommendation Guide for the correct lubricant.
