The Tridon reverse light switch range has been developed for use with manual transmission gear boxes only, and designed to operate within OEM specifications.
The reverse light switch must be compatible with the vehicle gearbox and drive train system. Failure to use the correct reverse light switch may result gearbox damage or lack of reverse light operation.

When a reverse light switch malfunction or fault is suspected, the reverse light switch should be checked and replaced by a trained professional.
